DESTINATION NEW ZEALAND: KAIKOURA

[E] Kaikoura, on the north-east coast of New Zealand's South Island, is well known for its wild life. Beside whales and dophins, you'll find, along the coasts, a colony of fure seals (up close, but not too close).

Just north of Kaikoura is Ohau point, where you can find baby seals frolicking on the rocks and in the water
We arrived at Kaikuora Seal Colony at about noon. There were about half a dozen seals, not many as it was hot and sunny in high summer. They say you can see many many more in colder seasons. But, the seagulls were everywhere, making a nuisance but was so pleasing to watch. That's how easy it was to get this lovely photo.
Just breath... Relax!
